B & H Rope Halters is closed for business through Monday, May 8th. If you have any questions about a new order, or problems with a previous order your emails will be returned beginning on Tuesday, May 9th. All orders that have already been placed will ship out in the order they have been received. Remember, all rope equipment takes 5 to 10 business days to ship as everything is hand made by Craig when your order is placed. If you received an email that says Your Order Is Awaiting Shipment most likely it hasn't been made yet. When your order has shipped you will receive a tracking number from us via the United States Postal Service.

Thank you for your patience and we are very sorry for the inconvenience. ~Amy and Craig

Mecate and Loop Rein Tying Instructions

First, work the leather back and forth to get it soft and pliable, then bring the rein thru the hole from the back of the slobber strap to the front and try not to pull on the end. Instead, push/work the end thru as much as possible. Pulling the end thru with force can sometimes cause your turks knots to come off and that's not something we want to happen.

Next, bring the rein around and under the slobber strap

Loop through to make a knot...

Pull tight, and you're ready to ride. This rein is shown as it would be tied on the off side- simply pull thru until your loop rein is at the desired length, and you're good to go. Easy to adjust.
