    Our Lead Ropes are made with a premium double braid polyester yachting rope. This lead Rope comes with a leather popper on the end and an Eye Splice for you to attach the Halter to on the other end. It has no hardware. Click here to view Rope Colors.

    Our double braid polyester rope is dirt, sweat, mildew, rot and UV resistant. This means your rope will stay truer to it's original form much longer, without fading, stretching, popping or elongating.

    14 ft lead rope (no hardware)

    I have purchased these lead ropes before with both kinds of hardware available. I don’t care for bull snaps so I ordered the twist snap. I soon found that the mechanism easily gets dirt and sand in it and then won’t work so I buy the wonderful lead rope without hardware and attach my own. Love the ropes.

    My trainer suggested I use a lead rope without hardware for ground work. I purchased a 13ft. one (and a 4 knot stiff rope halter). The weight and feel of the lead rope is perfect for ground maneuvers, and is easily removed if needed as a separate training tool; my trainer showed me how to use it to loop around the fetlock and gently pull to encourage my mare to move her feet in response to pressure. Great buy, and arrived quickly!
