B & H Stiff Rope Halter With 4 Knots On The Noseband (one on each side and two towards the center of the noseband). Compare to Your Favorite Down Under Clinicians Halter. All stiff rope halters will be made with 4 knots on the noseband unless ordering foal and weanling sizes, then it will be made with 2 knots. All stiff rope halters ordered with optional braided nosebands will have two knots to allow for the braiding in between the knots. Extra Firm Rope Halter shown with Optional Braided Noseband in Pacific Blue. Halter shown in solid hunter green with an optional braided hunter green/tan zig zag noseband. Halter shown with optional two colored braided noseband and optional decorative cheek knots. If you would like a two colored braided noseband choose braided noseband in the drop down menu, pick your primary color and leave us a note during checkout on which secondary color you would like for us to use.     B & H Stiff Rope Halters $24.99

    Our Stiff Rope Halters are made with a premium 1/4 inch Polyester Yachting Rope and used by many Natural Horsemanship Clinicians (4 Knots on the noseband is used by your favorite Down Under Clinician). Yearling thru Draft sizes are made with 4 noseband knots, weanling size is made with two noseband knots (we no longer make stiff rope halters in Foal Size). When the optional $6.00 braided noseband is selected in the options above your halter will be made with two noseband knots to allow for the braiding in between each side knot.     Rope Halters are intended to be used for training purposes only and should never be left on unattended horses. Also, make sure your lead rope is always attached to both Fiador loops. If attached to only one loop your fiador will loosen, thus causing the loops to become smaller, and eventually you will have an unusable halter.

    If you are ordering the optional cheek rings for your halters do not use them for tying, crossing tying, lunging or working your horse on the ground from just one side. Cheek rings are tied in to the cheek knots and intended for Riding use only. When pulled to one side from the ground or when lunging the fiador knot may loosen and come undone, virtually leaving you with no loops to attach your lead. (This is also not a safe way to tie or cross tie your horses). No returns on halters with rings will be accepted if used in this manner.

    Also, if you would like a two colored braided noseband choose braided noseband in the drop down menu above, pick your primary color and leave us a note during checkout on which secondary color you would like for us to use. If you would also like to add the decorative cheek knots please choose that option in the drop down menu and leave a note during checkout if you would like us to use two different colors. Please note that our optional cheek knots are purely decorative and are made with the same paracord used for braiding our nosebands.

    Best quality clinician equipment at reasonable prices

    Excellent quality and craftmanship

    These halters are the exact same halters I've used for years by Clinton. The knots are the same, the stiffness the same, the quality is excellent. The color choices to match the leads (which you can get in different feet, a bonus!), are amazing. I've purchased several "sets" and will never spend the extra $$ on others, and love supporting a home business. None of these products are flimsy or cheap.     Stiff Rope Halter with 4 Noseband Knots

    Very well made nice halter. Like the stiffness of it-get more response from the horse especially with the two added nose knots. So nice to have a choice of color, very reasonably priced and quick shipment. Couldn't ask for more.

    Great halter that fits my small Quarter horse perfectly. Anything you buy in the tack stores just doesn't have the quality that B & H does. I'm very happy with it and will be referring you to others in my barn.

    Really Nice Halter

    This rope halter is really nice and fits my draft cross perfectly. I actually bought the warmblood size and the draft size. You definitely need the draft size for a warmblood, I think. My boy fits in a mule headstall and the draft size halter fit him great. Love it! great colors and will definitely be buying more.

    Great stiff training halter

    Love that I found B and H for this training rope halter! It is handmade, has the extra nose knots which I love and the right amount of stiffness, available in a rainbow of colors, and just as good as the clinicians products at a fraction of the price! We will be sending our clinic students to B and H for their training tools.
